Actually, this site is pretty informative. Lots of information archived and such. People just need to learn how to use the search function/ learn how to to make a semi-decent sentence.
So blow it out your ass bitch.

waaaaaaahhhhhhhh
i just checked this guys post, looks like he's kinda new with civic...so my suggestion is to give it some time, get familiarized with the things concerning civic, see whats available, and what u like. i mean this forum isnt for us to answer EVERYTHING, which the majority of ur posts are but to educate people to come up with there own conclusions.

any if newbs used the search funtion before they made all of their stupid posts asking questions that have been covered a million times, it would save everyone the time and hassle

Okay... here's a little bit of what this guy wanted to learn about. In order from newest to oldest. His questions from his threads:
i NEED help here (http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=81868)
aight, i have a 94 ex coupe (auto unfortunatly) with a few bolt ons, not 2 bad for a lil D, i was either goin 2 buy a turbo KIT (either edelbrock or the greddy on this site) OR swap 2 a 94 gsr b18c...................is it possible 2 keep everything in my car (tranny, axles etc...) and just swap out the block/head?.............i read sumwhere that they make an adapter plate or sumthin for D-series tranny 2 bolt 2 B series engine...........also i cant find any tq converters 'cept for levelten.com........i want one bad, and theres a PTS auto shifter on that site...........worth it, POS?...........i NEED help here, TY
Told that modifying the auto tranny would be a waste and to upgrade to a manual tranny.
turbo (http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=81621)
ok, i just recently bought a 94 coupe ex, all i have are a few bolt ons like aem short ram and was wonderin what y'all think of the new edelbrock turbo kit for civics?
if i was gonna fork a large amount of cash over i'd swap out for a B18C5, but that costs more than the ENTIRE kit which would gimme more power out the little D, and weight dif. is phenominal and parts r wayyyyy cheaper for the D.
and how pointless are those electric ''turbo/superchargers''?.....restrictive?!?!?!
also the greddy kit in cc shop, are they complete?....worth it?.....better than the edelbrock or jr sc?
my civic is a daily driver, i dont wanna do anything OUTRAGEOUS.........dont get me wrong i love my lil D.....it just def. needs a lil more pull.................back to the kits, i know alot about cars and just recently got into turbos (due to my friends awd turbo talon).......i want a complete kit that i can upgrade as i go...................if u had 2 suggest ANY kit for a 5th gen ex, what would it be and why?
Told to learn about turbos and piece together a kit to suit his own needs. Told to not modify a D and invest in a K-series instead (though someone else told him that a K swao could cost upwards of $8,000 and you could make cheaper hp on a modded D, the other guy comes back and says a DOHC could control 250hp better than a SOHC). A bit of debate on the D vs B arguement... "It's not the kits that are weak... it's the actual turbos." Don't mess with electric superchargers or turbos and steer clear of tha B18C5 because it's overpriced. Told to research more and think about what his goals are with the car. Then someone else kind of jacks his thread with his own (but related) questions.
auto tranny help (http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=81840)
k, i unfortunatly drive a 94 ex auto, not 2 bad.............and was wonderin if anyone knows where 2 get good tq conv besides levelten.com.......................also on their site is a "PTS shiftronic'' module, so u can shift ur auto like a manual and control tq conv lock up for more tranny control...............any experience with these, good idea?!?!?!
No replies.
intake problems???? (http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=81720)
i got an aem short ram on my 94 ex and waitin on new hood, the hood as a lil' 4 inch wide 1 inch tall scoop DIRECTLY over the filter......will there be a problem with suckin in water???
is it possible 2 avoid this problem......besides not usin this hood, i want the cool air from outside the engine bay, w.o the longer intake(cai) and want sort of a ram air affect.............is it possible?
Told it's a possibility but that hydrolocking will only happen if the intake is submerged. Given ideas on how to protect the intake from sucking water in (pantyhose and a sponge).
Options....... (http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=81773)
k, ive been lookin at the edelbrock kit for my 94 ex, all stock internals...............is it worth it?..............how bout the greddy kit on this site.......or maybe a JR SC......so lost on boost options right now........help!
and plz dont say BUILD YOUR OWN....................i know ALOT about cars, but new 2 turbos and id rather get a kit and upgrade as i go..........
so your sayin that im not gonna need 2 do anything 2 my engine with EITHER of these 2 kits cept maybe ems?..............will i be able 2 run the kit w/o it untill i decide 2 get one???
and which of these 2 have better results on a D16Z6???
Told that the Edelbrock is the best kit bang for buck but to get a new EMS. Also is offered help by a direct dealer of Greddy who has some connections to Edelbrock.
tail lights (http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=81630)
k, i own a 94 ex coupe and was wonderin if i can clear out my tail-light covers and front corner lenses 2 resemble that of an SI . . . ?
also, i have an AEM short ram and plannin on gettin a hood w/ scoop over filter........can water get sucked in2 engine?
nah, i hate the amber sections, and i f'n hate altezzas, i just wanna get rid of the amber sections.......................and the intake suckin up water?
k, thats cool if u think its ''rice''............but i just hate the amber sections, is it possible? how?..............and the intake suckin water thru the scoop?
Told that the scoop could let water in. Given a link to taillights on eBay that might match what he's looking for. Someone else has a VIS Invader hood and says he gets no water in the intake but the water does land on the exhaust manifold, which doesn't hurt the car. Told that if he's still too worried about it, cut the piping and include a bypass valve.
Looks like on the most part you've had your questions answered. :what:
