I have a tsudo n1 cat back, it's good sounds great and at a good price. Still, I don't know if I would use their headers. Exaust can rust out, but thats about it. Headers can crack, welds can break, and you can have fitment issues.

An example is that on my tsudo exhaust I had to cut my heat shielding for the fuel tank out, the exhaust was rattling like crazy against it. Also the tip kinda points inward(toward the center of the bumper), I wasn't expecting it to point out, but inward?

The cheapest I would(and did) go is a megan header. I'm very happy with mine and they seem to be a really good company.

In all honesty, you get what you pay for. IMO, stuff like Tsudo/DC sports headers are just super BASIC designs that will yield minor gains, but are pretty much for looks.

From that pic, it does look a lot better with the gold/bronzeish finish, so if you want that look, go for it. Most people who run Tsudo/DC are cool with them, the only ones I've heard lots of CRAP about is SS Autochrome.

But yeah, for real PERFORMANCE, you seriously need to research some good companies. Not to sound cocky or make an asshole-ish statement, but there are PLENTY of hellaciously better designs. Bisimoto makes a great D series header, but the better ones are all harder to get ahold of too.

imho, I/H/E is the biggest waste of time and money for D-series.

apply that money for turbo and you'll make that d be worth a dime.

I have some good performance gains with my Tsudo header. So before anyone says "Tsudo and DC arent too good for performance, but more for looks".. go buy the different types of headers and show me physically by video or something. Yes, there ARE much more expensive headers out there and some / some dont give more pefermance gain than a Tsudo or DC header, but my car is down into the 13's all motor and the Tsudo header puts out nicely at top end.. the welds and piping are beautiful and strong.

so your sayin slap a turbo on my D15B7 and it wouldn't be a waste of money?

A turbo is never a waste of money, even on a 50cc scooter it's not a waste.

Not having the reckless abandon to boost to 12psi on your pos motor; that's a waste 8) .

Yea well i don't know anything about boost, psi, or turbos so ill stick with my idea of a z6 swap.. wouldn't wanna blow myself up before i reach 23

Swap the z6 in and then boost it with a Greddy 15g kit. It's a COMPLETE bolt on kit and you dont have to worry about a thing.

The fitment on my D-series Tsudo header was TERRIBLE. The outlet angled upward, so the exhaust guy had to heat it up and bend my brand new header; i had to drive around with an exhaust leak for like a week. Took it back to the exhaust shop and he said my best bet would be to cut the outlet and just weld piping to fit. I do not reccomend this header.
