d16.. mini-me's are like ls-vtecs... easy to break unless you spend good money.

In a 94 the D16Z6 would be easier.

And I have a fondness for the D16Z6. Totally subjective reasons though

you mean d15b 3stage vtec... sorry, you're probably not gonna find the 3stage... just the regular 130hp d15b vtec.

and 5spd or bust.

I wanna know this too. LOL. It's something I've pondered for a while. What is the difference between the new D17's in 7th gens from older D's. Can you interchange blocks/heads like previously, and manifolds?

my cousin says the bolt patterns are different for the manifolds, so that sucks some huge nuts considering i couldve goten a turbo mani for 75$

If you are swapping this into a 92-95 civic then the d16 will be a lot easier to swap over the d17 <---- which come in the 2001+ civics. By the time you spend on swapping the d17 in you could have had a b16 in it.

D17's dont respond too well to mods either. They are great on mileage but if you want one pretty much the only thing thats worth while on it is a turbo. (pretty much true with any motor but still hehe)
