I thought they said Ecotec Cavaliers were "fast"

I was driving down the interstate when a fairly new Fagalier ripped past me on the left. He was staring at me and made it a point to punch the clutch and rev at me as he did.

He slowed down and the freeway was clear so I pulled alongside him. Shifted down and brought my car up to about 5500 rpm. He's waving 3 fingers at me and mouthing some shit that looked like he said "...on the 3rd honk puto..." or maybe he said "vato" I dunno'. :what: I don't read lips that well.

On the 3rd honk I floored it and he was utterly destroyed. I was stacking serious car-lengths on his fat-ass up to about 95 when I decided enough damage had been done to him.

He wanted to go again. Same outcome. :lol: :twisted:

So who was it that said Crapaliers were "fast"?

I don't know what the one I drove today was besides "yellow" and "lame and "slow"..... Oh yeah, and it reminded me of the '99 Saturn I drove yesterday, which was also yellow, lame, and slow. Same interior set up... felt like an old Firebird ('93 approx.) only without the LT1 and shorter. Still had the same cheap black plastic dash that didn't quite seem to fit right.

I think the Cavalier I drove today was an '04.

dont they run high 15's? which is EM1, Ep3 territory...
they have like 150ish hp and a lota torque since they are 2.4
soo they are not that slow i doubt SOHC cna take it unless its ef

actually the Z24 are 2.4 liter the regular models are only a 2.0 i think??
My aunt had a Z24 and yes they could beat a SOHC
but they also weigh 2900 pounds 5th gens only weigh 2313 so it is possible for a SOHC to beat a 2.0 Fagalier

I just looked and in fact it is a 2.2 liter with around 115 HP

from a 40 to 90 roll against a buddy of mine who has an 04 5 speed ecotec i pulled about 5 cars maybe 6. all i saw was headlights falling back in the sideview then they appeared in the rearview sooo. my poor single cam cant get no respect it seems like :(
