So I was planning on getting another one soon, but not this damn soon. Two nights ago my air filter on my CAI fell off and now its open down there. What can I DO? Right now I have a sock on it, I'm in the process of getting another intake. What do you think?!?!?!

haha, nothing to worry about, if youve got your stock intake, youll be fine...its not like you need the extra 0.00025hp the CAI gives you :thumbs up

:werd:

this is funny because the EXACT same thing happened to a dsm i used to own... i didnt tighten the filter enough and the fucker fell through and i ran it over... running over a cone filter is fun when you're lowered nearly 4" in a dsm

Get another filter on a stick from ebay, or like Rand0m said, drop your stock airbox in back in there.

at least put a clamp or a ziptie around the sock. and then only leave it on long enough to drive to a store to get a new filter or at least a better temp
