ok, i know, im an idiot. I purchased a body kit off ebay, and although it came in great shape, it was lacking directions. I figured out how to mount the front and rear bumpers pretty easily, but the sideskirts left me scratching my head. Could someone please inform me as to how to install side shirts? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what kinda kit you have and i dunno if they all fit the same. helped my boo put on his black widow sides (and take them off many times) but they sat on his door sill (you know that part u can step on when you get in and out of the car?). He had like 4 of 5 screws screwed in on the door sill and 2 screws on the bottom of the front and rear fender (like where ur mud guards go). It's like a big wrap and it should kinda "hug" you car?! I dunno how to explain it!

SOME ELSE HELP HIM! i'm just confusing him, i know it! :???: I really dont' know how different side skirts fit cuz i'm only put the one BW side on before. Sorry!

^^ is about right on my BW sides. I got 5 screws in the door sill, just drilled and mounted them in there. then there was an area near back tire to put a screw and since the were such a tight fit i didn't bother trying to figure out the front part.

Some sides just lay over the old skirts and don't require you to remove the old skirts. I had to remove old skirts with the black widows. I hear alot of people attaching them with some 3M tape, but thats a lil unsecure and ghetto.

Although my sides suck. Have to take them off eveytime i jack the car up cause the way that they hang.

its so-so. just power drill get the screws out on sill and then one of them funny shaped screw drivers (like a Z without the slant) to get the ones by wheels. Its common so no biggie.

oh ok so it would be smart for me to try jackin it up and whatnot b4 i try to mold them to the car or would it be smarter not to mold them

well, if you're gonna leave them on forever and ever, then mold them. I think it looks clean :D it's just easier maintenaince wise to screw them in. Cuz, like BlackDX has explain, he's gotta take 'em off every once in a while. My bf did too when getting he got some stuff done @ honda and it's easy to screw and unscrew the sides...just less hassle i guess. Up to you tho!

I suppose if you go out and buy / try out several style jacks with skirts on then you can come up with something that works. Eventually (prob. christmas gift) will be getting ramps made for cars with lower clearnce and that may help.

they just hang down low and when i try and jack up my ride it hits the skirts and it would crack them if i tried to hard. but They don't cover the points at all, its just reaching the points.
