oem taillights how to?

I'm taking the altezzerz of and putting the stock lights back on but their kinda dull. I dont have any cash for New SI lights right now so I was wondering if any of you had any tricks on how to make the lights I already have look a little better.

I think the stock tails look good completely painted except for the reverse... my buddy has em on his 6th gen it looks nice

you use come kinda see through paint. should I do it to mine? I have the red civic so I think it would look tight!

you could go over and repaint em like morphiasX did... or you might want to just buff em up realllly good...

Yeah, id say if you dont wanna spend the cash on new lights, just paint of the amber... Personally thats what id do... but i HATE amber lenses, they are nasty IMO... Painting them is really easy... Here is the thread from when i painted mine...

cool, good looken out dawg. I got the oems out last night and cleened them their o'k' but i think I'll give them a light buff then crystal clear and enamil.

He doesnt have the right ones to do that with... Look in his sig, those are the ones he has... I mean he could paint all but the reverse red, but i dunno how that would look...

yea you gotta have the old school ones (i believe) like morphiasX's right steve? i was lookin for some so i could paint em half red but they are tough to find, the new ones have red circles around the lights and would throw off the red/clear effect:)

hey man I painted my 98 Ex stock tails all red except the reverse, it was really easy to do and I think it looks awesome. It cost about 4 bucks for the paint and some sand paper. I have some pics if you wanna see them let me know man.

Here is a picture of them. Its really easy to do, and its something that you dont really see alot, at least not where I live. I can tell you exactly how I did it if you are interested.

i took them apart last night I'm gonna try to paint them black
