hmmm...on a sixth? its not that hard
theres bolts and what not holding in the tails on the trunk
for the far side sets of light, you have to pull back the matting to get to those screws, youll see em, its pretty self explanatory

dude i did my brothers in like 20 minutes or less....you pull back the mesh covering or whatever and unscrew the screws...pull the bulbs out...remove the light, and then reverse back on.
96 LX hmm sedan should be 4 bolts that hold the light and outer portion should have 1 long black screw...
For your inner tail lights should only have 4 bolts
If you can't still get the tails out i'll give pics tomorrow.

yea i got the lights that go on the outside where you have to pull back the trunk lining. i need the lights that are attached to the trunk. i've unscrewed the 2 yellow screws that are on the outside of the lights, and the large gray one on the outside, and one other i think, but the lights still won't budge
i'll take pictures of mine tomorrow and show you .. u need to pop it out with some strength it's really in there..

yeah, alright i am going to post this for anyone else who is going to undertake the hardcore project of DIY TAIL LIGHTS!
1) pull out the little padding balls inside the trunk near the outer tail lights (they go back on later don't worry)
2) pull back the trunk lining and unscrew the 4 screws
3) twist the bulbs and pull them out
4) muscle the white piece that the two bulbs come from off of the light (sorry for my laymens terms)
5) pop out the lights, put in the new ones and screw em in.
6) if you want to put the padding back the way it was line up the holes and put the little do-hickey that holds it in there back on.
the trunk ones are a little trickier
1) unscrew the 2 nuts inside the inner part of the light (make sure you dont drop them inside the hood like i did)
2) unscrew the large weird looking bolt on the very outside of the lights
3) unscrew the yellow screw attached to the black piece holding the bulbs in
4) take out the bulbs and the white thing again
5) PUSH VERY HARD from the bottom of the lights toward the sky with trunk open (the lights may have been glued somewhat and won't come out as easily as the outer lights)
6) put your new lights in and your ready to go
shouldnt take more than 30 minutes
thanks for the help everybody who contributed
