Well, almost time to get a new battery - I think this ones almost ready to die.

Is there any brand specifically thats better than others? Or will any one do?

^ i THINK braille supplies a bracket to make their batteries work...not 100% sure though....i know my buddy w/ the ssm mugen dc5 got one WAY back when our friend first started braille...he made one for his rsx, quickly and cheaply, and it did the trick....couple long bolts and a few fasteners :what:

Duralast Gold.

about $80. and has a 3 year free replacement warranty.

and from a distance, all the ricers will think you have a yellow top Optima. :rolf:

I've only killed one and that was my dumbass fault for trying to jumpstart a freakin' Tahoe with TV's (plural), a big system, and a seriously dead battery.

Don't worry about the overall warranty length on a battery. Focus on the free replacement period. Pro-rata replacement is often nearly as expensive as a new battery.

most of the time i see dead batteries come in they are interstate duralast and bosch, but bosch is the worst in my experience, they have a 3 year free replacement and i see a lot of them installed for free

Red top Duralasts are kinda' crappy.

But far and away the worst?

WalMart nEverStart.

Go to any parts store's battery core box and check. At least 50% will be nEverStart batteries and virtually all of them will be less than 3 years old. Most less than 2.
