where is the dip stick for the transmission fluid?

There is no dipstick for manual transmissions. You remove the fill hole bolt and stick your finger into the hole to check the fluid level.

Open the top filler plug, use a flex hose funnel and fill it up with manual transmission fluid (picture below) until fluid starts to flow out of the hole you're filling. Then install the filler plug again when the fluid stops flowing out.

sorry to thread jack, where is the transmission oil filter?
and also, are these bolts in the same place for 99-00 civic si coupe (canadian)?

There isnt one for a manual transmission, and yes they are the same for a canadian si coupe

You can also fill it through the VSS
