97 Civic Ex Resonator or Muffler

Hi i would like to get rid of the raspy sound from my exhaust i currently have from front to back 2.25 piping no cat just a thrush turbo muffler should i get a resonator to remove the raspyness or invest in a good muffler?

The length of the pipe coming out of the back of the muffler makes a lot of difference to the tone. I actually welded on a 3 inch pipe to my Mk2 Escort to give it some extra rasp =)

Raspy sound is never a good thing on a Civic.

My only other thread is about zc timing and this thread wich are NoT related !

I think HeX was replying to another user who had posted in your thread. That post was removed.

But if you have a knockoff / ebay muffler I would invest in a new one. A resonator will help as that's exactly the point of one is - to alter the frequency of the sound waves and cause "destructive interference", - the sound will be reduced as the noise waves are cancelled out.
