just wondering about the engine blocks

So I'm wondering can any of the engine blocks on a Honda Civic be converted to vtec???

Google "mini me swap". And the general consensus is, if you don't have the parts lying around it really isn't a cost effective mod. Better to swap to a whole bigger motor and get more out of your money and time.

By the way, it's not the block that carries the VTEC system, it's the head.

I realized that after doing a little more research that it isn't very cost effective. I am going to take this down if I could figure it out...

hmm.. alot of engines can be interchangeable, But you would have to do some research. D series have parts that can be fitted with each other. B series have no problems and alot of support.

If your planning a swap, theres many different directions you can go.

Pick a plan and a budget and then start researching.
