I searched heavily but cant find the answer or anyone else woth this ossue

Just put on a new alternator, took it for a rip at in any gear over 4000rpm the speedo rocks randomly between 160 and 220kmh

Im thinking the cold solders in the cluster but no idea, i checked the voltage at 4000+ rpm and its 14.5v max so the alternators no issue.

Its buggen out my ocd in a big way haha

Any idea guys?

Thanks

corrosion on the speed sensor plug is usually the culprit

Kinda looks like a B series VSS

theres places for you to get a new connector where you can solder/splice it in. I think Rywire.com has it.
