A short description of my car, a manual 93 civic with ls swap and chipped p28 ecu with base map for the ls.

Yesterday it suddenly didn't wanted to start again, found the fuel pump wasn't priming, tested the fuel pump, tested the main relay, everything was ok, and finally tested with another spare chipped p28 ecu, the fuel pump primed and started the engine.

The problem now is that this second ECU is in limp mode, can't past 3500 revs, CEL is always on, I tried pulling the codes, but the CEL stands always on, no matter if it is bridged on the connector or not. The ECU has a blown transistor, the one for the EVAP solenoid, which I have removed since swapped the ls.

To what I know is that the EVAP solenoid wouldn't affect the ECU for limp mode, but can't figure out why can't pull CEL codes.

What other things should I check???

Thanks.

It is for ls, I swapped the chip from the first Ecu to the second one

Maybe the chip is bad? Can you find like a pr4 or obd1 p75?

No, I have another p06 from a d15, I was thinking to do the chipping and use a new chip, but the pieces for the chipping will late about 3 weeks to arrive, and also will need to pay for the mapping
