Need help

Is it true that the ecu needs updating because i took my car in to the dealer cuz its using so much gas and they said the ecu is out dated on software... I never heard of this and idk what to do because i drive like 6 miles a day to and from work and tank last me 3 days

ecu updated??? never heard of such thing. maybe change out air filter, spark plugs and see if that helps.

Im goin crazy thinking what it could be cuz i cant have it running good and i wanna boost but that will eat it up more

Ecu has software in it that needs updated from time to time. Here at work we are going through all the 2014-2015 models because there was a large update put out last month.

In the future, please make a title that reflects what your problem is instead of a lazy one that 99% of the members will just scroll by and in the first post include all the information on your car (make, model, trim level, any mods, etc.). Can't help you if no one knows what it is you are working with.
