Replaced neg battery cable, now green key light flashing?

So my old negative battery cable was frayed and kept causing a short so tonight I took it out and replaced it with a new one. When I went to start the car, the green key light was flashing and the oil light is on, no power to car whatsoever but I've rechecked connections multiple times, checked fuses, etc. Battery was recently tested and is fine. I'm stumped as to what could have gone wrong with something so simple, any help would be greatly appreciated.

That means the code in your key is wrong. But the car should still crank. If you have no power at all it has to be a fuse or relay or starter motor broken.
You using the same key?
