I'm having a hell of a time just installing Libre Office. I download the tar.gz, move it via thumb drive to my linux box, unpack it on the desktop, but there's like 35 rpms in the folder to pick from and the readme is d**k. I have root privs of course. The machine is off network so it can't work out dependencies on it's own btw.

In terminal navigate to the folder with all the RPMS and run
Code:
su -c 'yum install *.rpm'
I THINK that should do it, lol.

Oh snap man I forgot to get back to you.
I decided to ditch the CentOS, install Win 7, and run Ubuntu in a VM. I can use putty too. There is an exe for libre office. There is supposed to be mirrored repos for us to use for yum and dpkg but they're broken. An afternoon of work stretched into 3-4 days lol.
