I am looking to get a exhaust from the cat back. i have a 94 civic hatch cx. I am wondering if a 96 catback exhaust will fit the car. I have a different engine in it then what normally what comes stock i believe. D16z6 is what is in it now.

The muffler end will fit, the b pipe length will be slightly different.
Just be sure it's an exhaust from an EX/Si, the Dx and Lx models use a different style exhaust.

axle back will fit. You'll gain nothing but noise... but to answer the question, yes, so long as the clocking on the flange and diameter are the same.
