My 1993 Si Hatchback was stolen, crashed in police chase, and recovered. I am in the process of installing an Avital 3100 alarm system, and have it mostly done, but the instructions say to use a relay (8617 40A 5-wire relay) with the horn. Several wiring diagrams have led me down the wrong path color-code wise, and I haven't been able to find the horn wire that they say is in the steering column.
I believe I have to re-route the horn wire (from the horn button) to the number 86 terminal on the relay, ground the 85 terminal, and supply a new 12v source to terminal 30, and then connect the horn to terminal 87 (or 87a), but I can't find where to start.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
