So every time I see another EK I park next to it so here is a couple I've seen recently.
Here my car is next to a Milono Red EM1.

Next to a '16 Civic. Look how bigger they have gotten.

Next to a '96-'98 EX Sedan.

Next to a Milino Red EK Hatch (Just took 5 minutes ago)

The next thing I want to do to my car is tint it about as dark as his is. The hatch is a slushbox auto.

Just for kicks here is my old '96 Cyrus Blue Metallic Sedan.

As you can tell the car was lowered.
It was a good car the whole year I owned it, until the transmission went out in it. (Long story...)
I then bought a '97 DX Coupe from my aunt who bought it for my cousin when he turned 16 bu then didn't want it anymore.
I'll find some pictures of that car.

Okay guys I took some more picture's of my EJ8 yesterday!

20160503 (2).jpg

I also dug up some pictures of my other EK's.
I bought a '96 DX Sedan 5 Speed DY7 on October 12th, 2012 for $1,200 cash.
I owned that car for a year and put about 12,000 miles on it in that time.
I sold it when the transmission went out after I paid a guy $200 to fix it.
However it was still making a bearing noise at high speed.
The car had Del Sol seats in it and a new clutch and was lowered when I bought it.
The only I did to it was swap to a EX cluster for a tachometer and maintain it.

So after I sold my '96 Civic and my F-250 I moved out to the Mid West from California.
My aunt bought my cousin a '97 DX Coupe that had sat in our driveway for a while once he lost interest in it.
It had been converted to full manual steering and had also been lowered.
I had to put new exhaust on it and removed the stupid spoiler and aftermarket bumper.

Put a Summit Racing Blue Cap & Rotor kit on it today.

View attachment 27645

I put a full size 14" tire & rim in my trunk. (I'm still rocking hubcaps, in search of HX wheels)
View attachment 27646

The jack fit nicely behind the tire and gave my plenty of space in front of the tire to put my jumper cables and other stuff.

I also painted my grill and put a H emblem back on.

Did you notice a difference changing the spark plug wires and adding the racing distubter cap?
I have only done the spark plugs

Yes I noticed a substantial difference.
With my finals over and getting my degree now I can do some more things on the car.
The hunt for HX wheels starts now!

I have since bumped into the same Milono Red EM1 yesterday.

I had tot toally restore all the faded parts on my CGP civic. The grill was one of them.

IDK about blue accents on it, just doesnt flow... Same when the black wheel trend was in style, didnt look right with the green paint.

I stayed with black /grey interior and silver wheels

Blue is my favorite color, I don't go for looks.
I am searching for some HX 14" wheels that I will paint Gold to go with the Clover Green.

Well made some progress recently!

I have recently graduated from college and received my AS degree.

I also went to the junkyard and got two like new tires on steel rims, a very good doorpanel, a nice shiny headlght for the passenger side, a better lid for my center console for $50.

The old one is on top.

I also got a insert with a switch on it I put in, so when I add fog lights I can turn them on and off without my headlights on at the same time.

I then ran the wire under my windshield cowl and under the brake master cylinder. Out of site, out of mind.
I am going to the junkyard and going to rewire it to use the factory plug, just don't want to cut my plug.

Car is for sale as I've realized I want a '00 4-Door EX Sedan. Unloading big boxes from the Coupe is no fun.

Got an update. Sold the car immediately and paid down some bills, I then saw yet another '00 Civic EX Coupe I liked.
It's also Clover Green Metallic, it's got a short throw shifter, HKS high power 3" exhaust all the way cat back, lowering springs, and the body has 188k.
He swapped in a DY8 with 114. And it's clean.
Here's 1 picture of it so far.
The body is cleaner on this car than on the old one.

Here's a picture under the hood of the new car.

20160714_185528_HDR (Custom).jpg

My plans are to go back to the stock intake system (Sell this one) throw some of my parts from my other EK's on this one, change my headliner, clean it inside and out, get a audio system, tint the windows dark and drive it for another 200k miles.
This car has a short throw shifter and a 3" exhaust that and a new clutch, sounds good and deep, not ricey. I'll post up a video soon.
Known quirks:
Cruise doesn't work, power locks work hardly ever.
The PO put in a Double DIN blockout plate and put the radio by the cupholder, can't stand it. Going to try to fix that soon.
(So the cupholder lid, the Cold Air Intake, The Double DIN blockout plate are all for sale if anyone wants them)

It's not everyday you see something like that, but yeah I hear what you're saying about how you cant stand it. Where would you even put your cups if you want to use the radio??
