99 Civic SI: tranny fluid options

I need to change my manual trans fluid in my 99 SI .....what's the best fluid for it I've researched and found that Recline and Amsoil is most popular so does anyone recommend one of these and do I need an additive with it also how many quarts do I need thanks for any and all helpful advice

I've used GM Synchomesh on my D and B series motors, and I currently have Amsoil in my RSX. I recommend it -- I had a second gear grind that has nearly eliminated after flushing and replacing with Amsoil.

I wouldn't bother with any additives. You'll want to fill the tranny basically until it overflows, not sure how much you would need (2 or 3 qts), but your service manual should be able to tell you.
