Long story short, my car wasn't starting one day and I took it to a shop. They put a new distributor in, but need a new ECU. They said my old ECU went bad and they tell me to get a new one. The old one was the P2E-337 and the new one I have is the P2E-A02. I put the new one in and the car wouldn't start, but will crank. What is wrong with it? Is it the ECU or am I missing something.

Are you sure the old ECU was actually bad?

Is the CEL on?
