got a 7th gen civic i think its the d17a2 motor anyways what cause very light and seldom misfires? the car runs smooth but occasionally misfires when you let off the throttle occasionally while cruising and a little at start up i put new plugs in and flip flopped my coil packs cause the codes...

So I am wondering would I be able to pull a few extra MPG out a crx d16 with a few adjustments using a program like crome? Would a custom camshaft help me get extra MPG And is it possible to program the ecu to shut off cylinders at cruising speed? I want to build a car that maximises fuel economy

Is this possible? isnt the F series similar to the K series so maybe you could use k series motor mountS? I have no idea what im talking about but let me know if this has ever been done or if its even possible

So my friend is in the process of pulling his blown motor in his integra (dc4) and the motors valve cover looks to be that of a DOHC d series motor but his haynes repair manual said they only have B series engines. so whats the deal is car supposed to have a d series (dohc) or did the previous...

If i chose to build a b16 over a b18 would i be able to get the b16 to rev higher more reliably than a b18? Is there anyway to build a k series tranmission to hold more power (i hear theyre quite weak)

im mainly talking about valvetrain (since so many aftermarket valves springs and retaines are titanium) but id like to discuss titanium cranskhafts also. my main question is whats so good about titanium valves when steel is a stronger material i know titanium is lighter and doesnt corrode...
