don't get an LSD trans if you are going to be using this as a DD as it will worsen your gas mileage and, if you don't get a quality LSD unit, it will probably fail. I've heard bad things about OEM Honda LSD's.
well what are you wanting to do? stiffen up your motor mounts? I'd just recommend getting the aftermarket mouts because inserts won't make a difference when the metal part breaks. Of course I have no idea what motor you have so its a bit harder to say.
i've had both and i like em both but i like my 98 front end better due to the single bumper grille instead of one middle and 2 side. Plus fogs are easier to put on the 96-98. Well I am prob biased cause my 99 was a ex sedan and my 98 is a hatch. LOL!
and changing the tranny oil/fluid, brake fluid, timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and flushing the coolant on time, as well as spark plugs, plug wires, dizzy cap and rotor, all when they need to be changed and not waiting til they break.
dont put an walbro in unless you're going BIG HP mainly due to the fact that it flows a LOT of fuel and you really dont need that much unless you are boosting or just racing. stick with oem and if you dont ABSOLUTELY get a REAL FPR and not some modifier.
^^^^ what he said because coilovers are more if you're gonna be racing your car, not using it as a DD. Pretty much a waste of money except for baller status on a dd and u'll most likely hate the ride.
majestic honda is good for OEM parts or if you want the parts #s try bkhondaparts.com I also like importrp.com for cheaper prices on aftermarket parts. ordered a bunch of stuff from them and never had any problems. Customer service is good too.
jdm gsr will give you best power for price if you want VTEC. If its not required, get a b20 and ur set. hmotors is pretty much sworn by on most of the honda sites for reliable swaps.
dude if your looking for something for dd you just want some good springs and better shocks/struts. I recommend H&R Sport Springs with KYB AGX shock/struts from personal experience. You wont have a stiff and bumpy ride and your car will be lowered as well.
as far as forums go, go to www.honda-tech.com and check the FAQ section for your car year. Lots of good stuff to learn but don't try to ask any questions because all you get is a bunch of uninformed noobs giving out bad advice these days. The search button is your friend on honda-tech
