most d-series trans will bolt up to other d-series motors. the ex has better gearing anyways...why'd it take this long to even ask

son, you need WAY more than just the tranny. those are prolly cable trannys too. search www.d-series.org or other sites...theres a good write up on it. one guy even included every part number from honda.

first off, its obd1 so it would prolly be illegal to put that motor in your car. but if you want it anyway, youd have to convert to obd1 which requires a harness...not too big a deal. and youll need a tranny, axles, shift linkage, ecu, new motor and tranny mounts (i think).

as far their differences cat back it should be the em1 has a sway bar and disc brakes...dont see how any of those would cause clearance issues tho.
