F&F type 2 coilovers on a 2001 ex coupe (HELP)

Okay So I tried the search and couldn't find any good results. I want to know if any of you with 01 or 02 have had problems fitting these on your ride. Some results have told me that 01 and 02 have 14mm strut bolts (crash bolts) and the 03, 04, and 05 have 16mm bolts. The F&F website lists...

Yeah my teins are also a little bumpy. It's not a luxury upgrade, its a performance upgrade. ;)

New coilovers now car is bouncy, help!

The tire doesn't know the weight of the car that it could be fitted to.

New coilovers now car is bouncy, help!

I'm pretty sure for a 6th civic you want 35 front, 33 rear. Not anywhere near the maximum for your tires which should be around 50. Look on the sticker on your door jam. Edit: 35 front, 33 rear

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

Some OEM style ball seat lugs are back on. I'll be checking the torque on the lugs regularly for a little while, just to be safe! Thanks for any advice and input! Thread can be closed. :lock:

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

Ouch! Yeah I've been pretty scared driving on these lugs after I found out the hazard. Not driving another 2 feet without changing them back though, glad I got it all sorted out!

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

Oh yes! I've always tried to do all my own work, but lack of space for tools has crippled me. I also went and got a torque wrench so that I can put them on right! All I want to do is learn more about this beautiful machine! Soon I'll explore under the hood a little more, baby steps! ;)

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

It's very very much appreciated regardless, so thank you! Last thing I need right now is to have my wheels falling off or something! I went ahead and got some new OEM ballseat lugs I'm going to be putting on tomorrow.

If that's the only reason, I'll politely explain how I did it for the look, and not BS them, as I'm in no way a danger on the street. If they still ticket me, then I will more than likely place it back on the bumper. So far, I've passed by plenty of law enforcement and not a wink.

They all seem pretty good and tight still.

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

Can I just install some ball seat lugs back on, or should I be concerned with the damage that's already been done to the rims?

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

4 days. About 100 miles on them, and I did take her up to 100mph a couple times. No shake, nothing to worry me as far as "feel" goes.

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

I've seen something about these, but my main concern is the damage thats already been done.

I have the stock 99-00 Si wheels. I found this to explain: And stock vs new lugs:

After market lugs on my stock wheels... Never again

I went and bought some new locking lugnuts for my wheels because they "looked cool" and they locked afterall. Went to my mechanic and asked him to change my studs and put on the lugs, ending up replacing the bearings as well. Anyhow, with my stock wheels my mechanic mentioned nothing about...

Ahh crap. I had no idea. Why on earth wouldn't my mechanic tell me that? :angryred: Guess I'll be looking for a new set of lugs then. The originals are not a full set and pretty destroyed.

*Added an entry for today, November 22, 2015 *Updated the "to-do" list Found a very odd "mystery switch" under the dash today as well. No clue yet as to what it's for. *edit* I'm able to start the car with the switch set to the 'off' position, I thought it might be a killswitch? Nope, I'll...
