    Remote Start- 96 Civic

Everything I saw was mostly Avital and they are remote start and keyless entry combo. I haven't been able to find remote start only.

    Remote Start- 96 Civic

Does anyone make a remote start that will work with a 96 Civic CX? It's got manual windows and locks, so a keyless entry is not in the cards for me, BUT is there a remote starter-only system without keyless entry?

Since I was off, and it was raining, I decided to try my hand at "sticker bombing." I don't think it came out all that bad, really. I just did the gas door.

Yesterday (5/21), my brother-in-law and I finished installing the center console (had to use a tap and die set) and hammered out most of the dent on the passenger side. Armrest from a Civic sedan with storage compartment... the one in the hatchback was a low flat piece with no armrest...

Today, after meeting my mother for Mother's Day lunch, I installed some LEDGlow interior lights into the Civic. I installed them in an unorthodox manner (into the flooring) due to lack of suitable space under the dash. I cleaned up and tucked in the wiring as well as mounting the controller...

Muffler project finally finished!!! New DNA Motoring Header was fiber-wrapped before being bolted on. Two new Bosch O2 sensors were also added. The car sounds awesome!! I cracked a HUGE smile driving it around the block! I also managed to temporarily zip-tie my license plate to the front...

My buddy and I got to it early this morning in an attempt to finish installing the exhaust.... however, we hit some snags! While attempting to hook up the middle pipe to the downpipe, we realized that the downpipe was rusted out, and upon further investigation, also noticed that the headers and...

So this evening, after work, my buddy came over and we both removed the old exhaust system from the Civic. Took some work, some broken bolts, and removing a control arm, but we got the old one off. While preparing the new Yonaka cat-back for installation, some serious clouds rolled in and...

Parts of MD can be expensive, the closer you are to DC/VA. Not sure about the job market, I've been a cop for over 10 years. I'd check Indeed.com or USAJOBS. As far as emissions, if you register a car as historic, you don't have to get it inspected or have emissions done but you can still get...

Gotcha. Installed (more like Jerry-rigged) a DNA Motorsports Short Ram Intake into the Civic tonight...doesn't look half bad. Hope it holds! Electrical Tape holding the Air Temp Sensor Cut the supplied breather tube down and zip-tied it on Double clamped Final product... Even if it...

96-00 sedan & coupe lights compatibility

I know what type of lights the car uses, I was wondering if anyone knew if anyone made aftermarket ones with amber inserts, or if I should just use Night Shades on it and tint them myself.

    Brake Light Flasher

My old 86 Volvo 740 had a toggle switch that would flash the brake lights (incl. the third brake light) as if you were hitting the brakes. It was great for tailgaters, since they thought you were brake checking them. Is there something I can do like this for a 96 Civic Hatch??

I was thinking of lowering my 96 EK Hatch, without slamming it. Not sure what would be a good drop height to get rid of the gap between the tire and the wheel well.

96-00 sedan & coupe lights compatibility

For my 96 EK Hatch... I have seen the blacked/"smoked" tailights with the 3 red circles on it on ebay But do they have any that are blacked/smoked/tinted that have the amber insert like the stock lights? Or would it be best to put some kind of smoke/tint film on them or paint them?

    Seat swap options: 6th gen

Ok cool, I had an '89 MR2 and it had some of the most comfortable seats I ever sat in, in terms of car seats. I'll have to do some research on that.

    Seat swap options: 6th gen

I've seen folks put S2000 and Del Sol seats into their 6th Gen Civics, how easy are they to install?? Also, will Toyota MR2 seats work in a 96 Civic?? Thanks!!
