Fuel Pump issues, Sometimes primes and sometimes not

On my 5th generation, the same problem turned out to be a bad capacitor (Capacitor C14) on the ECU. Capacitor replaced, problem solved. I don't know if this is an issue in the 6th gen. https://www.clubcivic.com/forum/threads/cranks-but-wont-turn-over-95-civic-dx.232885/#post-3454731

synthetic oil is more stable for longer periods than conventional, and doesn't cost that much more. Either one works fine, that's up to you.

    First post need advice.

I would do it once a year and drive it at least every 3 weeks. But I would NOT drive it short distance. you want the oil, engine, and exhaust system to be at full operating temperature at the end of your drive. This is for various reasons, including water condensation in the engine and...

Buy an OEM or Honda Distributor Cap and Rotor?

My 2000 LX has 178k miles and a complete set of maintenance records. I believe it has the original cap and rotor, has the "Honda" stamp. I took off the distributor cap yesterday and it and the rotor still look good. I did lightly sand the contact points of the cap and the rotor with 220 grit...

    CV axle/strut question on a 96 Accord

thanks, though from what I have read, if you catch the broken cv boot right after it breaks, it is better to replace the boot on a quality OEM axle than it is to replace the axle with aftermarkets, which are often cheaply made.

    CV axle/strut question on a 96 Accord

Thanks OK, I'll clarify my question. I have to take the axles out to replace the CV boots. The CV bearing is in great shape. My question is, is it easier to also take out and replace the struts since I have to take the axles out anyway or would removing the struts and removing the axles be...

    CV axle/strut question on a 96 Accord

Hoping the experts out there can help me. I haven't done any suspension work on a Honda before. I need to replace the CV boots, so the axles have to come out. I'm don't know how the suspension is set up, but would it be easier to also take out the and replace the struts while I have the...

How difficult to remove timing belt cover?

Thanks boofoo! As a follow up. My 95 only has 41k miles. I've done extensive research on the net and apparently miles is a greater indicator of potential failure than age, based on evidence. specifics for my car: 1. always senior owned and not raped out to 6000 rpm at every shift. Its and...

question to air conditioning system experts

I'm going to switch Hondas with my brother. His has ac but I don't think he's had it serviced in years. It still works, but I'm concerned that the amount of Freon might be a little low and that it would not be good for the compressor etc. I've read and viewed conflicting things on the net...
