ive done a 99 conversion on my 95 and when i was doing the research for it i was reading about doing the 99 conversion on a 96.. from what i have read everything will bolt up but you will need to modify the front bumper support and that should be it.

I am curious on what cage his is using in there.. i like the design of it.

you sir are wrong about the d15b.. yes it has small rods but because of the stroke length they handle boost better than the d16z6. You can run 10-12lbs on a d15b all day long if you have a REALLY good tune. ive seen people run as high as 15lbs for a few runs down a track and it will handle it.

did you forget the d15b? It actually would be the best of all of them. Has the best head flow of all the dseriese motors and a larger cam too. From the specs ive seen it's cam is close to the zex street cam in performance.

when i did my core support swap i drilled out the spot welds grinded down the surfaces and mig welded the core support back in, be careful not to use too much heat and use a MIG welder that uses Argon, you wont get so much slag

the bumper is off because i have to make some minor adjustments to the bumper support..

The engine came in the car. btw that motor has a larger cam and better head flow than the d16z6. Its the best SOHC for boost.

thanks, it was difficult to find time to work on it since i work full time.. i cant count how many times i would get done working on it at 3-4am and be up at 7 for work.. i was really tired
