    wheres my oil?

I am also just trying to give helpful information. Just for your info I'm a line tech not a quick lube tech. Just because you have never had this issue does not mean that I am wrong. So you should not try and contridict what people say unless you have run into this problem.

    wheres my oil?

If you use bottled oil you will not be able to get all of the oil out of it. So if you use 3.8 bottles you will be short especially when you change the filter. Unlike at the dealeship where you would use an oil gun with an accurate reading of 3.8. Just my experince, but what do I know I just...

    wheres my oil?

If you are using bottled oil, when you pour the oil in not all of the oil comes out of the bottle unless you let it sit there for a while and drain all the way. If the car takes 3.5 quarts you should use 4 to 4.5 quatrs depending if you change the filter.

    More Powerful Civic?

I work at Honda dealer also. We allready got four of the sedans and should have the SI in about a month or so. The auto sedan is actually quite petty, they say the SI should have200hp and be a 6 speed. I think the I-vtec is much more economical and reliable. They are also more powerful in...

    ABS light still on

the best thing to do is to find out what the code is and then you will know what you need to do to fix it. It could be many different things, such as wrong axles, bad wheel sensor, leaking abs unit and so on.

B18b Ls vtec swap into a 98 dx hatch...any thoughts?

ls/vtec's work great, everybody thats downs them are either to scared to do it or don't know how to drive. I had mine for two years and it took a direct prot 100 shot to blow it, and even then it only dropped on valve. But if you are going to do it use gar or type r head and ls trans.

    Oh no, trasmission troubles...

Sounds to me like either the clucht is going out or the first and second gear snycros are bad. Has the clutch ever been changed? I would change the fluid and put Royal Purple snycromax in. If it doesn't get better I would say you need to get the clutch replaced or the transmission rebuilt.

    exhaust almost touching bumper

The problem is not with the hangers, it is because the muffler tip does not go past the bumper. So when you are driving the heat from the exhaust goes right against the bumper instead of past it. The best thing to do would be see if a muffler shop could extend the mufflet so that it will be...

    no oil pressure HELP

try unhooking the distributor and keep trying to start the car until the oil light goes off. If that doesn't work then you will probably need to take the oil pump out and take it apart and lube the gears and then try again.

    Alternator????

try and jump start it, if that doesnt work then it is most likely the starter. if it starts and when you unhook the jumper cables the car dies then it is your altenator and possibly the battery too.
