I just found out my ride is spitting out "black" smoke when I get on it really hard. I just rolled over 100K and will be doing a big tune up in the next few weeks. Black smoke usually means you're burning oil, right? So does that mean I have bad rings? or is it something easier to fix?

Does installing an intake void the warranty? My little bro just brought home his SI and he is worried about voiding the warranty but want's to install an intake. Just curious.

I've also been told that when you have to much oil your cranks will hit the oil in the oil pan making it get frothy (bubbly) which can cause your oil pump to have problems getting the oil sucked up...basically the same thing you guys are describing...but w/ my .02 cents of shade tree added in....

I've recently purchased some 17's as well and I'm going to purchase a set of coilover's more than likely the skunk2 or GC when I get the cash. I like the idea of being able to adjust the ride height if I decide to change tire size / type or during the off season. Just my .02

I've been trying to look at pictures of peoples rides w/ turbo but it's not very clear as to whether or not you can run turbo and keep your A/C installed? Like I said I've just recently been researching Turbo... I'm kinda looking at the Greddy Kit ...any other suggestions?

no it's isn't....if you look in the first picture you can see his seat with the bend heading towards the seat. Which is the purpose of the second bend to get it closer to the driver I believe....
