The lights not on, I'm just wondering if the oil gets too low, will it cause the VTEC to not work? I've only had the oil light come on a couple times and it's only been if I break really hard. It'll come on for a second or two then go back off. I immediately add oil if I ever see that though.

That would also cause VTEC not to work on a B16, correct?

How low do you have to let your oil go for the oil light to come on? Are we talking one quart, two quarts left in the system or what?

Car idles a little rough, runs rich and leaves black soot all around the exhaust on the bumper, misfires at idlle, doesn't sputter or hesitate but there is a little loss of power, and I get about 260 miles per tank.

If I have a bad O2 sensor, will it throw a CEL immediately after I turn on the car? My car's running rich and I can't figure out why. I changed the plugs and the fuel pressure is right around 47 which is normal, right?

It depends... On what setting the hair dryer is on, how far away you're holding it, if you keep it concentrated in one spot or move it around a bit...
