yeah for a d17 motor an intake will give you maybe 2-5 hp at best, but when your add in a goot header and exhaust, you'll feel the difference. it's not going to knock you back in your seat but you will notice it pulls harder than stock.

civic+dual exhaust= :rice: honestly the only reason to have dual's in the first place is if you have more than one bank of cylinders, you have an horizontaly opposed 4 banger...you only need one exhaust pipe. and on a 7th gen exhaust don't yeild large gains if any unless you are spoooolin.

and for a daily driver that's gotta be hella fun.
