    Flywheel

ITR Flywheel is usually around $250 give or take. To have your stock flywheel lightened is usually $125. I would not spend money on an ITR flywheel if you don't already have one. You can get an ACT Flywheel that's 12.5lbs for $225 or an 8.8 lbs version for the same price.

    Flywheel

Yes! You can use it with a stock clutch, but since your tranny is already taken apart, why not move up to a more agressive clutch?

    Flywheel

Ok folks...... lets try to clear everything up. A flywheel and a clutch are two separate components. They are related because the clutch disc grips onto the flywheel and moves the car. Most stock flywheels weigh about 18 - 20lbs, depending on the car (aka B-Series, H-Series, D-Series)...

    Flywheel

I've actually never had a problem running my shaved flywheel. I was running a 13lb shaved flywheel. The only problem I ever had was my clutch (4 Puck ACT) digging into the surface of the flywheel so much, that my clutch outlasted my flywheel.

    Flywheel

I've actually use a OEM lightened flywheel. It's perfectly safe as long as you don't go too much. They pretty much shave the backside. It's safe to go down to 14lbs for most applications. I know some places do more, but I wouldn't feel safe knowing how thin my flywheel is and knowing I could...

Exactly why I stick w/ 205/50 on 15" wheels. I like the straight line performance. As far as stiff sidewalls, Falken Azenis is stiff enough as it is.

    Flywheel

12lb is a nice weight for most street driven applications. Some people like 8 - 10lb weight which is good response, and great for the track but you'll have to get used to revving slightly higher on the street to prevent stalls, etc. etc. For Drag racing, too light is bad. You want some...

    Intake?

Intakes are really overrated. When people do intake shoot-outs, the difference is a couple horsepower in a lot of cases, and sometimes less. Generic Cold Air Intake might be $50. AEM Cold Ait Intake might cost $220. AEM might make 2-3 more horsepower over the generic intake, depending on...

    Reference: Horsepower And Torque Explained

Horsepower = Torque x RPM / 5252 Torque is bascially the moment of a force, the measure of a force's tendency to produce rotation about an axis of your car. Torque is what accelerates the vehicle, not the horsepower. However, horsepower is important because torque at higher RPMs moves...
