Thanks man, that was extrememly helpful. I guess I'll really just need to decide if I plan on boosting or not, or if I'm gonna have to ball on a budget. After I get all my homework done and make a decision on which way to roll, I'll start piecing everything together and do it all in one fell...
For all you K-powered EK owners, I've got a little question for you. I plan on goin K with my EK, but I've read that the oil pan sits lower than my current B16. Since I plan on still using this car as my DD, I'm a little concerned with ground clearance. I suppose I could always raise the car...
I usually get about 29-31mpg in town in my civic... altho I swapped to the gsr tranny for a little longer gears, I hardly drive like a maw maw, I've got 17s... I buy premium gas though, idk how many of y'all do, but it works out well for this kid!
Yeah I'm thinkin about doin this as well... When my plug wires started goin bad, I wasn't burnin all the fuel... I'm sure I have a crapton of carbon in there... I don't quite know the mileage of my motor tho... car has 83k and the motor is supposedly close to the same, but I doubt it...
Lots of people are at work bro, bumps less than an hour apart are unneccessary.
I have no idea why your car would do that after changing a headunit. My guess is that it's unrelated since you put the old unit back in and it still didn't work. Since you were working on the electrical system...
I really could care less what he does. All this arguing and bickering between parties solves nothing. We get entertainment for a few hours maybe a few days while we all debate how moronic our President is or how great he is. It gets us no where. We each have our own opinions and we're...
I was losing coolant the same way you're talking about and I thought is was bhg, but it was just my radiator cap. Costs $10, just replace it anyway. If that doesn't fix it then rock on, you have a new one anyway and move on to the HG. :)
If they don't drop it you should have the option to take a driving class to drop the points. Here in LA you only get two classes to take, one's a 2 year class (meaning I can only take it once every 2 years) and another is a 5 year class ( meaning if I've used my 2yr class I can use this one)...
It's a stock civic being called a hot rod. I found it humorous so I thought I'd share. I don't care if y'all find it funny or not. It's not my intention to please the likes of CC. :)
I was just about to say...
Anyways, sorry to hear about your loss. I straight up moved when my car got broken into last year. I was tired of spending all my money repairing what other people messed up.
Welcome to CC and enjoy your stay! =)
(I'd comment on the pics, but I can't see...
