well its working great... I bought it at JRP in Toronto Canada and it was about 1200 CAD for the valvetrain and cams for my b16. I'd say with cam gears and the car tuned probably added about 15 to the wheels

^ thanks... I know the fuel filter is easy just watch you dont break or pinch the line but how hard is the cap and rotor?

I am going to do all that on the weekend! I just bought a new cap/ rotor and fuel filter.... the plugs and wires are new and I am going to take the IACV off and clean it... I usually dont do that stuff myself but I heard it easy and all you need is TB cleaner.

My car is now idling like a total bag of s**t... I mean every time I put it in neutral it drops to almost nothing and stalls out half the time! Its not throwing any engine codes yet. Sometimes it idles just fine and next stop sign it might stall out... very inconsistant. ANYONE??

you have the constant wire f**ked up some how... look up a wiring diagram and re wire your deck.

the dohc obd1 is a b***h to match parts with. Its the bastard of honda engines in North America. I am pretty sure you can go to a lot of importers and get the alt and distributor from them. There is a number of matching forms on the net just sue yahoo and search

research don't just buy... different parts can and will work diferentely with other parts

Is it normal to have a bit of white exhaust on start up? It doesnt smell sweet and goes away once I have driven the vehicle. I dont know if it something to look into or if its just condensation and I am worry to much.

When I drive at a higher rpm and try to hold that speed my car tends to act like I am quickly steping on the peddle and letting off... so an inconsistancy in spend which causes a minor lurch. Its only when I am trying to hold a speed steady say 60km (cad) per hour in 3rd gear at around 3k rpm...

you need to go to google and type almost the same thing.... or go to a JDM site the sells engines and read what a complete swap comes with! There is also tons of threads on here and other sites about the same s**t!

actually the low power comes from the plug before the connection with the TB therefore the TPS seems to be between the ECU and the connection to the TB. Its an error code only with JDM ecu's such as the P30 and unfortunately its cuts of vtec.

vtec was created by Honda racing R&D department in the early 80's I believe for strickly there race cars. They had great success with it so that is why they brought it to there street vehicles shortly after. Also notice how other major automotive corperations have copied they same technology...
