iv taken the tailgate apart and the only thing i see is a green/black wire going to all three latches and then theres a black wire for ground...

i have a 92 civic si that i bought about 8 months ago and i was driving home and i noticed that the trunk light came on. so i pulled over and i reshut the tailgate and the hatch and the light turned off. now its on and wont turn off no matter how hard i slam the trunk... and ideas on how to fix...

when i first got the car the hood had some nasty cracks on it... so i sanded to bare metal and just had it primered... car is scheduled to go to the body shop in about a month and a half...
