    x2 a good way to find out for sure however it will make the issue worse if it is the clutch going is simple....try to launch it nothing insane but rev it up a bit and drop it decently from a stop...if it slipped almost right away and than just revs up and once you let off gas goes back to normal...

    wow lol i fixed the machine shop guys ac today for a awesome discount on my ls/vtec motor work and build. two bad sequencers oh well its all better now =) and my build just got 250$ cheaper =)

    bump? nobody.... well from the blown headgasket the oil was thinned from coolant still in system so i changed oil again and that whine is alot less.... and the engine runs with the IACV disconnected...

    timing maybe?

    i read the diy on that but how dose it help anything? j/w and new symptoms timing is ok but oil is cooking.....steam from oil cap after running slightly... i replaced the t-stat yesterday. and it still reves up and down surging,.

    ok so the timing was off i have fixed that and it runs alot better now i have a cooling problem it revs up and down now and pressure builds in the radiator =(
