    Vtec's not kicking in..

    Well I really dont think so.. On my Civic 98' 1.8 My mate has an Type R, his kicks in around 5.5rpm (you hear it), but there's no change in my enigne sound at all at more/less the same revs. I though all Vtec's would probably "kick in" around this, I dont have any warning lights either...

    Theres no crack anywhere in the tank or in/around the rad either, everythings dry, and the last time I checked the oil cap (a week before I changed stat) it was fine too.

    Guys guys guys.....I wont be fitting a s/c...just maybe a turbo... But would just like to know if they can bolted on with an approriate manifold and if I need to raise the head.
