    Spoiler LED replacement

If it was me, I'd try fixing the LED brake light. LEDs don't normally wear out easily unless their power supply is incorrect. Could be a resistor. Anyway, I'd take it apart, diagnose the problem and fix it. At worst, you put in all new LEDs. Costs less than purchasing the assembly. Maybe throw...

    Keyless entry with aftermarket radio

The easiest way to have keyless entry is to use the OEM system. Just plug it in and go. If you want to splice wires or have more features, choose any aftermarket system that you like and follow their instructions. What year is your Civic? You may already have keyless entry and not know it.

    Engine shuts off multiple times

Sounds like a main relay symptom to me. I've experienced this in a couple Civics of various years. Should be a real easy fix. Main relay is behind the glove box and on the right. Often these can be repaired easily by re-soldering them. You can buy a new one for around 30-35 bucks. I'd attempt a...

    Ignition Dead. Need Help Bad

I wonder if the main relay might show similar symptoms. Did you figure anything out?

    wiring problem

So, this dude cut the wires on the vehicle's harness, and then soldered them back together? If this problem only occurred after he messed with the wires, then there's a good chance that therein lies the problem. Since the parking, tail, and instrument lights are all on the same circuit, that...

    Ignition Dead. Need Help Bad

The ignition switch might be burnt out. If it was failing intermittently and you had to wobble the switch to get it to work then I would say it's definitely the ignition switch. In which case, replace the switch with a working used or new switch. I think a new aftermarket switch would be $25-50.

    D16Y7 to VTEC???

The D16Y7 does not have an oil jet in the block. I believe that applies to '88-'95 Civic motors only. With '96-'00 Civic motors the oil jet is in the head. I could wrong about the years, but I know that the Y7 does not have an oil jet in the block.

How Would You Fix This?(Rear Bent Subframe)

I might do that. I'm so tempted to attempt to fix it though. Could be fun. Now I have something to think about. Thanks for your input, guys.

How Would You Fix This?(Rear Bent Subframe)

I'm not too worried about the body. I just want it to be drivable. I have a couple of 4th gens laying around that I could cut. Would any of those parts be even mildly compatible? How similar are the subframes? I love working on Hondas so that's why I'm tempted to my this car. Though I...

How Would You Fix This?(Rear Bent Subframe)

The girl who rolled it will let me have it for $400. The car has been abused. In fact I've worked on it before. She blew up the Z6 and I had a Y7 laying around so I sold that motor to her and did the work. The top of the car is crushed in just a little, the fenders are ruined along with...

How Would You Fix This?(Rear Bent Subframe)

I'm thinking about buying this '93 EX that was rolled for my next project. The roof crush is minor. The only real problem is with the rear of the chassis where the lower control arm mounts to the subframe. I'm thinking a torch, a winch, and a sledge hammer. Maybe a ASR subframe brace to get it...

New to Honda got a few ?'s

Drive-By-Wire means that the throttle is electronically controlled to get the most power and efficiency out of the motor. You push the gas pedal and the computer signals a servo to turn the butterfly valve.

    has this been done before

    1.6L Mystery

Maybe the TPS doesn't operate correctly after it heats up? You could switch it with a known good one and see if that fixes the problem. I can't think of anything else at the moment. You're a mechanic, so I'm sure you checked for codes, right?

Air Escaping Wen I Hit V Tec

New intake = more noise from air flow especially when VTEC is engaged allowing for more air to enter the engine. ? Maybe.

    where is the vvs fuse?

I don't think it has a dedicated fuse. It most likely uses a shared fuse, probably the ECUs.

car would not start pls help./ srs light on

It's either the switch on the clutch pedal, or it could be the starter relay. Most likely the former of the two. Could be caused by something else though.

    Head Swap

Yes, it will fit. I think. I'm not sure what belt you would use though. Is the D15s head wrecked? I don't think you'll see much of a performance gain with the Y7 head, unless you have a intake manifold from a D16A6, Z6, or Y8 and MPFI. But even then...
