    Last Thing You Ate?

Leftover hors d'oeuvres from yesterday. These things need a serious alcohol correction factor. I swear they were tastier with drinks.

    Hello.... I own a 9th Gen..

I'm BACK!!! ...sort of. Just lurking the 9th gen to see if anything is happening interesting with them. Can't decide if I want another Civic or not. I like the Hyundai Veloster but hate that it's basically an overbaked Hyundai Accent. I like the Si Coupe but don't like $22,500 + needless...

What do I need to study if I want to be a car designer?

:agreed: But you forgot taking input and problems from accountants, focus groups, and existing safety and emissions laws and making them work on a Euro/Australian/Asian market car for the USA

What do I need to study if I want to be a car designer?

Research being Australian, European, Korean, or Japanese because not many cars are designed in the USA anymore. Seems like all we really do is full size trucks For instance: The new Camaro. Engineered in Australia. Built in Canada.

is there such thing as too tight?

Too loose? squeal and glaze a new belt. Too tight and you shorten the life of bearings on accessories. (you really have to make it seriously tight though)

    B20a6

Nobody makes an installation kit for it and it's not worth it anyway. It really doesn't make any more power than a non vtec B18 and doesn't make significantly more torque. It's got a cable shifted transmission. I know because I broke a cable on my 91 'lude. It's not a "real" B-series...

    tire help

 Wow, is that new?:suprise: That is the absolute best price I've seen on F1s. I myself don't particularly care for Goodyears, but F1s have a loyal following and I've never seen 16" F1s for less than $100+. I still don't trust tires from Taiwan. Cheng Shin (Maxxis) are good for...

    B18c1 Or B18c5.... Questions...

I'm sorry, I can't read screaming. push the button on left side of your keyboard that says "Caps Lock" until the LED on the right side that says "A" turns off. If you find a B18C5 in good shape, at a respectable price, buy it. Otherwise it's not really an option. B18C1 does almost...

    Gaskets

OE is overpriced and more often than not of lower quality than premium aftermarket. Graphite is really only necessary in engines like the Neon 2.0, Toyota 3.4, and Ford Essex 3.8. It wasn't OE that solved those problems. It was the automotive aftermarket I recommend Victor-Reinz DANA or...

    Got in an accident =/

Sucks about the Civic. :thumbs up But I like the F-150! You couldn't touch that truck for less than $1000 here. (Some Ford guys really like that old twin I-Beam, constant camber change front end :what: + MPFI 302! yep. that's a $2000 truck. )
