Friend recently got one of these & wants to put it in his EK3. Was wondering if anyone has done this & what needs to be done or if it could even be done at all? this is what he has now (if it makes a difference) Thanks.

My friend is looking for headers & an exhaust system for his D16W7 (or D17A6) engine in his 2003 Honda Civic VTi. Any ideas if any of these headers or exhausts could work?

Asking on friend's behalf Do you think that these seats can work properly in an EK3? If I take out my rail and weld it on to the seat. Getting seats on a steal of a deal. Thanks.

My friend is in the last stages of an engine swap from a D15B VTEC to a D15B 3 Stage VTEC engine. However he said he needs an "emission purger" otherwise the car would stall in idle. Just want to know if this part exists & some knowledge on it. He has a 1993 Civic VTi by the way.

My friend recently swapped his D15B VTEC to a D15B 3-Stage VTEC. What he is wondering is if he could use the D15B's valve cover in place of the D15B 3-Stage VTEC's without any complications? Thanks.

Based on what was said, I'd say its combination of sorts that made the 78k EK3 loose to the 97k EK3. The weight of the subwoofer, Dynomat (if you have), the rims, the low profile tyres, etc. Believe me, a more open exhaust & headers does make a difference in terms of speed, even for an automatic.

To me though what took the cake for its fakeness was that original poster said "This is a real Type-R Civic!! The Chassie number is EK9B16B "

I saw this car claiming to be an EK9 while browsing around a forum & thought I'd show it here. Wondering if this is a true EK9 or not. I think not personally. Oh & they said the chassis number was "EK9B16B" Here are some pics:
