So this car is just a feeler right now to see if there really are any bites now..It's a 2001 VW GTi 1.8t, silver, 894xx miles on it now, timing belt & water pump done March 06' at 74k, oil changed regularly 3k with synthetic, cf hood which will be repolished due to wear and tear from weather...

It's been a year and sorry to say but your SOL..I would ahve taken it to a friend of mine or a dealership I know and trust before buying it..I mean I know it's better to learn from this experience now..but ehh..it sucks..good luck with it. If it's a private dealer you have 30 days off that car...

Yeah I was going to get a chip and it was APR from a friend of mine for $550 but changed my mind..Thought he said 400 so..ehh..Whatever..I'm trading her in when I get my credit back up to par again no modding for her anymore..Too many issues with VW.
