you can run the wire up to near your head unit and find the speaker wire there. It is usually labled on most wiring kits, and make sure you disconnect them from your head unit.

if you hit a bump and it feels like it bounces alot and keeps on bouncing you may need struts. So if you are going to lower just get a full coilover setup or struts and coilovers.
