^^^^ This is correct, you should check your temp sensor, on the A2 i think there is one at the bottom right of the head(dizzy side) and there is one that is near the T-stat housing, and just for next time post issues with engine's in the proper Forum, you may get better feedback.

yeah more detail needed, does it rev up with no power or doesnt sound like a proper rev.. timing could be off, you have to be carefull with DOHC motors when it comes to timing, off too much and your motor is pooched!!!

Never herd of that happening but to check your solenoid just disconnect the single wire clip going to your solenoid and run positive power to it and ground anywhere on the solenoid it self you should hear a little click if not just by a new one as stated earlier

Replace the main relay located to the right inside your glove compartment, they are quite exspensive so just go to a junkyard or find a junked out civic and grab it, they begin to go when it is hot outside, and the symptoms are basicly your car shutting off randomly.

B16a block, crank, main bearing caps w bearings, oil pump, water pump, main seal. Block looks to be recently honed cause there is fresh crosshatching marks.300 takes it. I live in ottawa Canada, will not be shipped, local pick up or meet can be arranged.

I just had an issue of timing with my b16, i was off 1 tooth, and it dropped my compression 30lbs, so remember 1 tooth can make a big difference.

Well when i got the car it was wired so that no CEL's come on but when your turn the key to cycle the fuel pump the light comes on then it is suppose to go out but it doesnt so im sure its dropping codes, but i dont have a code reader, and i just rebuilt this motor, and runs mint and all just...

When coming to a stop, or while slowing down to clutch in, my rpm tach jumps to 2000k sits there for like 3 seconds then drops back down to normal idle, i have checked and replaced IACV, checked for vacuum leaks, the motor is b16a, in a 99 si with a p2t ecu. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Yes all the elements to start the vehicle are there which is what is making this so complicated. The first enitial time i started the vehicle after the rebuild it started, idled and 650 or 700 whatever the nomal idle is, then i went to go give it a bit a gas and when i did it would just bog...
