I "had" a stock b16 with omni power valvetrain and type-r cams and type-r ecu and when i hit vtec it wasnt smooth. And i didnt have no fancy gagets. i ran a respectable 155 whp with a gsr tranny.
well, sry, i didnt know they were that god damn strick, if u have a b16 in ur car now whats the differnce of putting in the same motor with the same emission contorl, and r u doing or is a dealer doing it.
see if there any slack in ur throttle cable, also have someone sit in the car and give it full throttle (with the car off) and see if ur butterfly opens up all the way
the best way to reset the computer it to either disconnect it for 5 min or pull the fuse because if u disconnect the battery u have to reset ur radio. The reason for doing this is if u had a check engine light on and fixed it, it'll get rid of it.
