Is the price of $25000 for a 2012 Honda Civic ok?

Considering I just bought out my lease on my 2018 Audi A4 for $26k, I would say that $25k for a civic 6 years older is way too much. It should definitely be under $10k.

    Civics are pretty cool too

I work for Porsche on the dealer level and have been here almost 9 years. Talk about bitching about prices. I guess they got rich by being stingy about cash. Had a guy complain to me about a $15 remote battery on a $200k+ car. It's insane sometimes. That's over the front counter...

    Bumper

Get a welder and some round bar or tubing and get to fab'ing. :what: Also going to need a bender or a lot of heat, way to shape, and something good to cut the bar with. Maybe find a local fab shop to do the build?

1992 Honda civic Dx hatchback build// Fonda's story

Sounds like a nice start and it also sounds like it has a long way to go. Your car was build specifically for being one of the top MPG cars of it's time. I hate to say it but Mr. Baker is right. It's going to take a LOT more than "refurbishing" your little 60hp motor to get over double the...

    Ignore this

I ran fuzions for years on my civic. Nothing wrong with them for the money. We put them on a lot of our used off brand cars at work. Better than the cheap crap the used car manager wants us to run to save money. Depends on what you want out of the tires though. It's a very broad topic. Now...

Optional Center console 92-95 Honda Civic EG EJ

$200!?!?! That's a hell of a deal. Surprised you still have it. Are these not popular anymore? I got over $500 for my extra one on eBay a couple years ago, turned into a bidding war. GLWS!

Where to have custom decals made

Any local company that can cut and apply full vehicle wraps would have or know someone that can make ones with printed designs on them. They all do wraps for big box trucks for delivery companies, or trailers that race teams use, etc. We have a ton of them in this area so I am sure there are...

    Oil Change suggestions

Industry standards say that anything over 75,000 miles is considered high mileage. It has to do with wear on internal moving parts, not weather you (or any of us for that matter) agree with the facts or not. :thumbs up

    '12 Civic Oil issue

Lol. They only have 4 quarts in these things now? Wow! That's even worse considering. My F4i only had 3.5 in it and it was a little 600cc motorcycle engine. Used to the cars at work that have 8-9 quarts average.

    '12 Civic Oil issue

Yikes! Considering the car holds like 5 quarts of oil total, you are at least 2 1/2 quarts overfilled. That isn't good. :thumbs up for not driving it any further. I have seen a lot of people on this site that have driven many miles with a problem like this before asking for help/advice.

But wait guys, we are all a family right? Lol. Must be a family where the older siblings spoon feed the young because they are too lazy to feed themselves and will starve without it. OP, I could understand your argument if you were asking for information that didn't have tons of specific...

    Maintenance Reminder Problem

You aren't going to get any help on something like this from Honda directly. They leave simple crap like this up to the dealerships to handle on their behalf. If you can't get competent help from one dealer, take it to another. Legal action over a stupid maintenance reminder is only going to...

    Unknown Head Swap: Issues

Why not? That's all you have done so far, plus for 9 pages of this thread you have YET to take any advice given. I can't believe HEX has continued to waste his time. Best guess, you messed something up digging into the distributor when that wasn't your problem to begin with.

Anyone install 7" flip out radio in lower din?

Don't know about 6th gen, but I do know that in my 5th gen the screen hit the shifter every time it opened up unless the car was in 2nd, 4th, or reverse. It was a pain in the ass to get it to fit down there too and the optional stereo console for the 5th gens is supposed to be able to fit a...

    How much would you pay?

Nope. 100% pass on that. There is a reason he is trying to dump it off. I made the mistake of buying a vehicle with a lien like that. Turns out the lien was for non payment when the car was newer and the original owner skipped out on the car and the bank threw a lien against it. People said...
