How bout the RCA cables? Is the ground a good one?

While the gain would need to be turned up, your frequency settings on the amp might either be too low or high. Look up what range your sub falls into to set accordingly. Also, make sure the sensitivity isn't too high. Too high--not enough comes through. Too low--too much comes through...

The ground is most likely the culprit. Also check and make sure the fuses are ok. The one under the hood and the one actually in the amp.

If you get the EM1 then you don't need to look for a motor! Luv that B16! But being that young and getting your first car. Get something cheap, I was able to avoid the situation, but chances are you're gonna F your first car up, so just get something ok for now and work towards something

How many miles are on the motor? Along with 9.0:1 pistons (I did CP) and eagle rods, I would look into bearings as well. To be on the safer side, also look into a new oil pump! Sleeves aren't totally necessary unless you plan on going stupid sick down the road. Like everyone is saying, the tune...

7 lbs from my 18G ate the rings in 10k miles or less....only was 247 whp!! 400 whp is a lot for it to handle...ur gunna havta open that turbo up and let'r eat!! Would suck to blow your motor on the dyno!

Holy crap...It's really been a long time since I was able to get in the garage! Had to replace the clutch, went with a stage 4 Comp. Clutch! Clean motor, ready for the manifolds this weekend! Manifolds will be on this weekend, plan is to have it set in the bay by mid-week!

The thing with this contuing rice ordeal, is that is we did to these cars when these cars were new. Back in 2000 or so these cars were on mag covers. Now they are ridiculed. Things change and eventually people are going to make fun of all of these JDM ppl. All that matters is you built a car...
