I have this on my Integra and yes, I do bottom out. And my car isn't even slammed. Just like 1.5" to 2" lowered. I only bottom out on bumps and potholes. If you're gonna slam your car AND put the lower tie bar, it WILL get scratched.

Surprisingly, I'm lovin the 18's. It seems like anything bigger would not look good, but I could be wrong.
