I've been looking and trying to find out what steps you need to take in order to rebuild your engine, seen a few that said i should get it machined? whatever that means ha, but it'd be nice if someone wrote a how to , on rebuilding an engine , lets say the d16y7 =]

build internals , to start off with, better to have strong internals weather goin n/a or forced induction

lol i got a 96 dx, sohc non vtec also =[ ha, and i would say take out power steering and a/c , thats what i did and gutted car and seems quicker ha, and try taking off your stock intake and running it like that it makes a deeper sound on stock , and it should be alright because inside that box...

they got mufflers that help keep sound quite jus look them up

get a mugen exhaust if you got the money for it ,, ssooooo sexy ha no homo, but yeah or get magnaflow if u want a lil cheaper ha but sound is cheaper to, mugen is best

im thinking about swapping my d16y7 with the jdm d15b caz it pulls harder and is relitivly cheap, plus VTEC!!!! then ima boost the hell out of it haha rapage

nah perfessionally my bolts are effed up cant get the rotor off :[ to change the clutch so ima get it all replaced =], ha and jus got a job so can afford it , and im still trying to see if a b16a sir 1 obd-0 will work well in the ek coupe caz i heard it causes issues becaz of cable tranny

Lol , you guys are trying to kill his wallet ha, well if u got it go for the k24 but if u like me and are an average guy, go for a b series i'd say and save the money for I/h/e fuel injec, suspension, the whole 9 yards u kno ha

electric turbo? whats that lol, i got a d16y7 also and replace the IM also it's ugly do a y8 conversion, ha it'll ggive you more power as well if im not mistaken, and isnt that the only difference between 6th gen dx'z and 6th gen ex'z?
